The Opticalia Museum is intended for your pleasure, and for some visitors, an introduction to the fascinating heritage of science and technology common to us all. Linked to History and Origins, the Museum provides a reference resource for students, science and technology enthusiasts, or anyone else interested in the origin and evolution of scientific instruments.

The museum has been compiled in a virtual format but represents actual instruments from the collection of Dr Spatz, an inventory, representing over 12 years of collecting, restoring and researching. We hope you find our Museum informative and enjoyable.
